Webhook Delivery Failures

Diagnose and fix webhook delivery problems.

Check Webhook Logs

  • Go to Settings → Webhooks
  • Click on the webhook
  • View Delivery Logs
  • Check status codes and responses
  • Common Failure Reasons

    HTTP 400 Bad Request

Cause: Your endpoint rejected the payload

    Fix:

  • Verify your endpoint accepts POST requests
  • Check Content-Type is application/json
  • Validate your payload parsing
  • HTTP 401/403 Unauthorized

    Cause: Authentication failed

    Fix:

  • Check your endpoint auth configuration
  • Verify webhook signature validation
  • Ensure secrets match
  • HTTP 500 Server Error

Cause: Your server had an error

    Fix:

  • Check your server logs
  • Ensure endpoint handles the payload
  • Add error handling
  • Timeout (no response)

Cause: Endpoint didn't respond in 30 seconds

    Fix:

  • Optimize endpoint performance
  • Return 200 immediately, process async
  • Check server availability
  • Retry Policy

    Failed webhooks are retried:

  • 1st retry: 1 minute
  • 2nd retry: 10 minutes
  • 3rd retry: 1 hour
  • 4th retry: 24 hours
  • Manual Replay

  • Go to webhook delivery logs
  • Find the failed delivery
  • Click "Replay"
  • Monitor the result
  • Testing Webhooks

Use the "Test Webhook" button to send a sample payload without affecting real data.
