Email Not Sending - Common Fixes

Follow these steps to resolve email sending issues.

Step 1: Check Gmail Connection

  • Go to Settings → Integrations
  • Find Gmail in the list
  • Check the connection status
  • If disconnected, click "Reconnect"
  • Re-authorize if prompted
  • Step 2: Verify Daily Limit

    Gmail has sending limits:

  • 500 emails per day for personal accounts
  • 2,000 for Workspace accounts
  • Check your usage:

  • Go to Settings → Credits & Usage
  • View "Emails Sent Today"
  • Wait for reset if limit reached (midnight PT)
  • Step 3: Check Recipient Email

    Common issues:

  • Typos in email address
  • Extra spaces before/after
  • Invalid domain
  • Bounced previously
  • Validate the email format and try again.

    Step 4: Review Error Message

    Error messages provide clues:

  • "Authorization failed" → Reconnect Gmail
  • "Rate limit exceeded" → Wait and retry
  • "Invalid recipient" → Check email address
  • "Sending quota exceeded" → Daily limit reached
  • Step 5: Test with Different Recipient

Send a test email to yourself to isolate the issue.
